The Regional Psychosocial Support Initiative (REPSSI) is a non-profit organisation working in 13 Eastern and Southern African countries offering innovative programmes. REPSSI’s offerings are aimed at enhancing the capacity of the social services workforce to provide effective mental health and psychosocial support services to children and youth. The organization is currently delivering a Diploma in Child and Adolescent Mental Health that is accredited with Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Authority (TEVETA). REPSSI therefore seeks to recruit self-motivated, experienced and suitably qualified individuals to fill the position of lecturers in the following courses:
- Fundamentals of Child and Adolescent Mental Health
- Children and Adolescents Human Rights and Laws
- Foundations in Child and Adolescent Development
- Community Mental Health
- Introduction to Computers
- Communication Skills
- Child and Adolescent Counselling
- Sociological Theories of Child and Adolescent Development
- Health Psychology
- Psychosocial Support
- Culture, Religion and Mental Health
- Entrepreneurship
- Mental Health Assessment and Rehabilitation of Children and Adolescents
- Role of Play in mental wellbeing and Development
- Research Methods
- Management and Organization
- Gender Issues in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Care
- Behaviour Change and Life Skills Development
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a recognized University with expertise in two or more off the above listed courses.
- Teaching methodology qualification from recognized institution (Must have)
- Valid TEVETA accreditation certificate (Must have)
- Minimum of 3 years lecturing work experience in a similar field
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite Applications
- Must be Lusaka-Based
