2.0 Background and Rationale
The University of Maryland Baltimore with funding from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) will conduct the Zambia National Population HIV Impact Assessment (ZAMPHIA 2020).
ZAMPHIA 2020 will assess progress towards achievement of the UNAIDS 90-90-90 targets on national and subnational levels. The data will be used to focus HIV services and resources to the areas of greatest need and help move Zambia closer to HIV epidemic control.
In order to increase participation in the ZamPHIA 2020 study, the project will scale up community mobilisation strategies that encourage participation assuring the community of confidentiality, safety and, security using a variety of creative message dissemination such as print, audio, visual and inter personal communication . One of the community mobilization campaign tools that will be utilized is a theme song for ZamPHIA. The ZamPHIA theme song is an important and powerful social mobilization tool that will strengthen other social mobilization strategies, as this will be the main ZamPHIA tag line. It is beyond doubt that people return memory when they hear it through a song with a mixture of visual. The theme song will be embed in all the ZamPHIA Radio and TV Jingles and it will carry the key messages to encourage the community to participate in the Survey
3.0 Purpose of the theme song
Production of the ZamPHIA theme song as the project campaign tag line to scale up community mobilization efforts.
4.0 Methodology and Scope of work
A concept will be shared with the artist with key messages for the project. Using creative medias, the artist will produce a theme song in both audio and video format. It will incorporate at least not less than four main languages in additional to not less than two artists. This will enhance representation of all ages and tribes across the county. The song should be appealing to the target groups!
