Chef

Job description

1. To undertake general preparation of food
2. To understand and adhere to all food hygiene and health and safety requirements in order to meet regulatory and Company standards. This includes the safe use of knives and other sharp utensils.
3. To maintain a high standard of personal hygiene. To ensure that a clean uniform is worn at all times.
4. Meeting sales targets
5. Managing employees in the department
6. Managing stock and conducting weekly stock takes

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 3 years experience working in a similar role
2. Must have a food production or catering certificate
3. Should have a track record of employee management
4. Must be willing to work extra hours to meet operational requirement
