Head ChefÂ
Sherbourne Hotels invites applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the following positions.
Duties
- make sure that all the food coming out of the kitchen are of high standard
- making sure that the kitchen is kept clean at all time
- supervise all chefs and porters in the kitchen
- menu planning
- comply with sanitation regulations and covid-19 safety standards
- maintain inventory of food and supplies
- report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues
- check fleshiness of food and ingredients
Qualifications
- Full grade 12 certificate
- Diploma in food production
- More than 5 years work experience as a head chef
- Good interpersonal skills
