1.4.1 Masters Programmes

(All programmes are offered on both fulltime and distance learning)

  • Master of Pubic Administration (MFA)
  • Master of International Relations and Development (MIRD)
  • Master of Social Work (MSW)
  • Master of Local Government Administration (MLCA)

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS TO

2.1 Postgraduate Diploma

  • Five (5) “0” Level credits (6) or better in subjects from Zambian School Certificate or its equivalent;
  • A first degree from a recognised institution.

2.2 Masters

  • Five (5) “O” Level credits (6) or better in subjects from Zambian School Certificate or its equivalent;
  • A first degree atleast graded credit from a recognisee institution;
  • Special entrance requirements prescribed by the relevant School as being necessary.

2.3 Doctoral (PhD) Programmes

  • Five (5) “0” Level credits (6) or better in subjects from Zambian School Certificate or its equivalent;
  • A first degree with at least credit from a recognized institution;
  • A Master’s Degree relevant to the field of specialization being applied for;
  • Special entrance requirements prescribed by the relevant School as being necessary.

Method of Application

Application forms may be obtained in person from Academic Office at the Great North Road Campus, website OR on facebook,  payment of a non-refundable fee of (i) K 150 (Zambian), (ii) USD50 (Non-Zambian) deposited in the University Account No. 1067654300160 at any ZANACO branch countrywide. Application forms can also be obtained from our Town Campus Offices and at our Main Campus, Great North Road in Kabwe OR our Learning Centres namely: Choma (Adastra Basic School Provincial Resource Centre, Tel: 0213-220008), Lusaka (Mulungushi Conference Centre, Tel: 0271-295909) and Ndola (Provident House, Tel. 0212-613738).

All completed application forms should be accompanied with certified copies of certificates or stctements of results; a bank deposit slip OR receipt from the Bursar’s office and should reach the Academic Office by:

  1. 30th June, 2018 for Distance Learning programmes
  2. 30th July 2018 for Full-Time programmes

Those candidates holding admission letters from previous intakes but did not report for one reason or another should buy and complete new application forms.
